Transport
The next airports to get to Weimar are Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, then closer Leipzig and Altenburg, and the closest one is Erfurt. 

There are trains from Berlin to Weimar at daytime every hour. It takes 2,5 hours to get to Weimar. From Frankfurt to Weimar is nearly the same. From Altenburg and Leipzig to Weimar there are trains every hour and it takes approximately 2 hours from Altenburg and 1,5 hours form Leipzig to go to Weimar.
