Dr. Konstantinos Chorianopoulos: Researcher

Media researchers have studied the interaction between electronic media and humans, while architects and urban planners have studied the interaction between humans and the build environment. What happens and how do these disciplines complement each other, when digital media become an integral part of everyday (home and city) life? I am elaborating on applications for home communication and mobile city life. For example, applications for interpersonal communication in domestic space (such as video communication, awareness of remote presence) and applications that facilitate engagement in public space (such as public displays, group activity awareness).
